Purraise
Beautiful, Holy, Purrfect God, I love You meowy, meowy much! You are light, you are love, You watch me from above, and yet you are also close enough to touch. I purraise You for making me and saving me from sin. I purraise You because You have no darkness within. Oh, glorious God, who could ever understand You? Mighty angels cry “Holy” as they rejoice around You.
I love You and worship You, Father, Son and Spirit. I will shout purraises loudly so all can hear it. I will whisper it softly for just You alone. Thank You for being my Lord and my home.
Salvation for a Loved One
(I am using the female pronoun “her” in this purrayer, but you can use “him” if you are purraying for a male.)
Dear God, I know You love [insert hooman’s name] so much. Thank You for making her. Thank You for dying on the cross for her even though she hasn’t accepted Your sacrifice yet. Oh, Father, my heart hurts thinking of [hooman name] being separated from You and me for all eternity. I know that’s not what You want because Your Word says You want all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4).
So please help me to plant Your Gospel seeds within her soul, and please take out her hard heart of stone and create in her a clean, soft heart that will receive those seeds and let them grow. Holy Spirit, please water the seeds. Reveal to her how much she needs You. Reveal to her who You are in the way that she can best understand. Make every demon and lie of the enemy flee before Your love so that the darkness lifts from her and Your light reaches her.
Grow, seeds, grow! Believe, mind, believe! Love, heart, love!
This is my furvent purrayer, and I will keep asking and believing because Your Word says “Ask and it will be given to you” (Matthew 7:7) and that nothing is impossible with faith (Matthew 17:20).
Thank You, Jesus, for saving [hooman name]!
Spiritual Growth
Holy Father, just as the flowers grow and bloom in spring, purr-pretty please grow me too. I surrender my mind and heart to You. Change my thinking and my desires so that I may serve You better.
Grow my love, gentleness, patience and endurance. Open my eyes to see hoomans the way you do, so that I can love them in a greater way. Grow my faith, Father, so that I may be bold for You and share the Gospel and so that my faith is greater than my fear, which will allow me to live life to the fullest just like Jesus wants!
Grow me in self-disciple and love for You so that I do not live like a slave to hooman desires but instead can walk with Your Spirit. Grow my passion for Your Word and for worship so that I know You better and spend more time with You, my Best Furiend and Father. Thank You for helping me grow up to be a mature Christian. Ameown.
Overcoming Fear
Lord Jesus, I do not want to live in fear anymore. I want to obey your command in Joshua 1:9 to be strong and courageous. Help me remember that when I choose fear over faith, it’s like I’m believing the world or people or Satan are stronger than You. I know that’s not true! There is no one and nothing greater than You, so purr-pretty please help me live according to that truth!
Holy Spirit, I give You purrmission to transform my thinking. Please make me bold in being obedient to You, sharing the Gospel and in loving other hoomans. Each time I feel fear, purr-pretty please remind me that I am Yours and that You have given me a spirit of power (2 Timothy 1:7). Keep my eyes on You so that my faith is strong, and I can walk on all the waves of life and give You all the glory for it. Ameown.
Deeper & Holier Furiendships
Thank You, God, for your furiendship! It is meowy amazing that a purrfect and holy God like You wants to be furiends with me. I also thank You for the hooman furiends You gave me. I love spending time with them, and I love them!
So furst of all, I ask that You will save every one of my furiends. Open their hearts; let their ears hear and their eyes see Your truth. Help them to understand how great Your love is and to be willing to trust in Jesus for salvation.
Purr-pretty please help me and my furiends to walk together towards You. I want our relationships to be more than surface level and more than just having fun together. I want us to love and serve You together. Help us to get excited to be brothers and sisters in Christ.
For any of my furiends that are walking in sin, please reveal to them how the sin hurts them and how it creates separation between You and them. Holy Spirit, You are strong enough to break those chains of sin off them! Give them understanding and humility so that they cry out to You and repent. Help me to stay faithful to You and to walk in holiness so that I am a good example to them. Tell me what to say and when to say it to bless my furiends, and I will do it, Father! Because I trust you!
Last but not least, I declare that You are my greatest furiend, so in times that I feel lonely or when I don’t have as many furiends as I want or when I have to separate myself from them in order to stay true to you, I will remember that I still have the Bestest Furiend ever!!! I will always put Your furiendship furst! I love You, God!
